Day 1 | Tokyo

First day in Japan! After an overnight flight with not much sleep, airport sushi for breakfast and plenty of waiting in queues we were finally on the train heading to Tokyo. First on the agenda was a visit to the Imperial Palace Gardens, we were a bit late for the opening of the palace for the Emperor's 83rd birthday, but we wandered around gardens, followed by a visit to the National Museum of Modern Art and then finished with dinner in Akihabara. After only 1 day here I am already in love with this place and so excited to learn more and experience more of what Japan has to offer.
