Braidwood Bushfires

December 2019

Our family property just outside Braidwood was almost devastated by the North Black Range bushfire when it came through at the end of November. Luckily the preparations made before the fire came through and the work of the local firefighters on the day the damage wasn't as bad as it could have been. We lost 2 sheds and a lot of the garden, but the main house and cottage and a few other buildings were saved. We went down a week after to help with the clean up and documented some of the damage by the fire.

I donated 100% of profits from all prints sold during the month of November to the NSW RFS to support the local firefighters that saved our property and many others.

If you want to donate directly to a charity you can find a helpful list here, or you can make a donation to the NSW Rural Fire Service here.
