Day 19 | Osaka

We only had one full day in Osaka so first stop was the Osaka Castle. We walked through the grounds and there was plenty of matcha (green tea) ice cream to try and lots of people watching to do (mainly people taking photos of their matcha ice cream or selfies in front of the castle which we also did!). After that we got the train over to Osaka station and went shopping at the Grand Front Osaka. So many beautiful clothes to look at, if we had more room in our bags I think we would have bought a lot more.
As it got closer to sunset we walked over to the Umeda Sky Building and made our way up to the 40th and 41st floor sky garden which gives 360 degree views of the city. We watched the sun setting over the city as it changed from the warm glow of sunset to the twinkling city lights at night. On the way home we got distracted by some more shopping before dinner and then slowly made our way home through the bustling street of Dotonbori.
