World Bee Day 2019

I worked with Wainwright Facades and Knight Frank to design a pop up installation coinciding with World Bee Day on 20 May 2019. Located in the foyer of 4 National Circuit, Barton, the main purpose of the installation was to sell honey harvested from the bee hives located on the rooftops of a number of ISPT owned commercial buildings within the ACT.

The installation also aims to educate tenants and visitors about the importance of bees, the declining population of bees and what we can do to help with a range of educational content and two week program of activities.

For the installation I designed a lockable counter to sell honey attached to hexagonal display shelving, planter boxes and educational signs (including design on the signage boards), free standing sign, photo wall and honey jar label.
